Meta's AI Play: Moving Beyond Ads and Subscriptions to New Revenue Streams
Meta CEO'su Mark Zuckerberg, şirketin reklam ve abonelik modelinden uzaklaşarak, işletmeler için AI aracıları, API'ler ve doğrudan compute satışı gibi

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed the company's ambitious shift away from its traditional ad and subscription models, focusing instead on enterprise AI solutions, including business agents, APIs, and direct compute sales. 'We see a significant opportunity to create new revenue streams for large enterprises,' Zuckerberg said during the Q2 earnings call. The company is expanding its AI offerings to its existing advertiser base, integrating AI agents across messaging platforms, and leveraging existing partnerships with millions of advertisers and hundreds of millions of small businesses. Meta is also exploring the sale of compute infrastructure at a 'significant premium' over its costs, though Zuckerberg cautioned against selling all compute in the short term. Additionally, the company outlined its plans for agentic AI, including personal AI assistants and smart glasses for consumers, as well as AI-powered app development to accelerate its suite of social tools. This strategic pivot positions Meta to strengthen its competitive edge and reinforce its unicorn status.
