How Much Did the VİOP and Stock Indices Change at the End of the Week?

This week, significant developments took place in Borsa Istanbul. Regarding the weekly performance of VİOP and stocks, the BIST 100 Index, in particular, gained an average of 1.01 percent on a weekly basis. This occurred during a period when investors preferred to take risks. The change in gold prices was more strikingly evident. The gram price of gold gained 2.79 percent, indicating a rise in the price of gold, which investors perceive as a safe haven. Exchange rates also experienced a notable development. The Dollar/TL gained 0.38 percent, and the Euro/TL gained 0.49 percent. This points to a period when investors increased their foreign exchange trading activities.
