CHP Internal Purge: 8 Provincial Heads Removed and 7 Governments Dissolved

The CHP Central Management Board (MYK) meeting saw the removal of 8 provincial heads following a court's 'absolute butlan' decision. Additionally, 7 provincial governments were dissolved. Muslim Sarı, during the meeting, asked 'who is the butlancı?' and criticized the party's internal legal process. Those removed included heads of Edirne, Isparta, Konya, Tokat, Zonguldak, Yalova, and Rize provinces. Nine deputies were also sent to discipline with a request for permanent removal. During this process, CHP Antalya Provincial Head Nail Kamacı and Kayseri Provincial Head Ufuk Ozan Gözbaşı were also removed. The MYK appointed new officials to these provincial positions. Additionally, the provisional suspension of CHP Deputy Group Leader Gökhan Günaydın was lifted. This internal purge within the CHP continues as claims that leaving the party serves AKP's interests.
This process within the CHP marks a critical phase for the party's future. Political purges may reshape the party's internal structure, while the legal proceedings involved are also drawing attention.
