MKK Launches Crypto Data Platform: 5.6 Million Investors and $14 Billion Market Value
The Central Bank of Turkey (MKK) has launched a new data platform to enhance transparency in the crypto asset market. The system, updated daily on the MKK Market Data screen, is based on reports from crypto service providers (KVHS). The platform currently holds data for 5.6 million investors, with 797,696 being newly registered through the MKK system and 4.8 million previously registered. The number of active investors stands at 3.2 million, with a total market value of $14 billion. MKK Governor Ekrem Arıkan emphasized that the data will be shared with the public under transparency principles, ensuring that crypto market developments can be tracked with MKK oversight. The data is automatically updated at the end of each trading day and published the following day. MKK's infrastructure is designed to set a global example in crypto asset regulation.
