Turkey's E-Commerce Export Revolution: Aiming for Top 10 with $410 Billion Target

Mustafa Gültepe, Chairman of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM), underscored the transformative role of e-commerce exports in Turkey's trade. The country set a new record with $396 billion in exports in 2025 and aims to reach $410 billion this year. Gültepe highlighted the strategic importance of e-commerce, stating, 'Hundreds of thousands of Made in Turkey products reach the world daily via digital channels.' Trendyol's $1 billion investment and its achievement of $1.5 billion in e-commerce exports, delivering 55 million products to 10 million customers in 35 countries, demonstrate the sector's potential to empower SMEs and artisans. The government's focus on e-commerce as a key driver to enter the top 10 global exporters was emphasized.
