Air Cambodia Secures C909 Aircraft Deal with COMAC, Reshaping Cambodia's Aviation Investments

Cambodia's flag carrier airline, Air Cambodia, has signed a deal with China Commercial Aircraft Corporation (COMAC) for the acquisition of C909 aircraft. This marks a significant investment in Cambodia's national aviation sector, with the C909 models offering capacities of 78 to 97 passengers and a range of 2,225 to 3,700 kilometers. The first batch of aircraft is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2026 and will be used to strengthen air connections between Cambodia and Southeast Asia. The agreement is seen as a crucial step in enhancing Cambodia's role in the international aviation sector.
